Colm MacEoin
SolicitorColm qualified as a solicitor in Dublin in 1996. He worked for a short time in the capital city before moving to Carrick-On-Shannon where he developed strong experience across a wide range of practice areas in a country setting. In 2002, he returned to his hometown of Kinvara and established his practice with his sister Patricia at a premises in Clarinbridge. The firm moved to a new premises in 2021 in Kilcolgan. Colm is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and is a member of the Mental Health Commission’s panel for solicitors who act on behalf of clients at their Mental Health Tribunal Hearings. Colm is an avid sportsman and in his spare time he can be found sea swimming, cycling, playing a variety of sports and even taking part in triathlons.

Simon Murphy
Trainee SolicitorSimon joined Colm Mac Eoin & Co. in 2022 as a trainee solicitor after completion of the FE1 examinations. He is a qualified physiotherapist who has held positions in private and practice in Ireland and Australia, and as a clinical specialist in orthopaedics for a medical device company. He is currently undertaking the Solicitor Professional Practice Course through the Law Society of Ireland. In his spare time, Simon enjoys going to the cinema, cycling and swimming.

Patricia Mac Eoin
SolicitorPatricia qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and trained in general practice in Galway city. She has experience in many areas of general practice including criminal defence, personal injury litigation and refugee and asylum law. Patricia is also a qualified Irish language translator and has worked at the European Commission in Brussels, both as a translator, and as a legal officer in the area of migration law. On returning to Ireland from Brussels Patricia spent some time as in house solicitor at TG4. Patricia enjoys finding practical solutions to potentially legal situations, and cutting through the legal jargon, whether that be in English or Irish! Outside of work Patricia can be found sea-swimming, bike-packing or reading crime fiction while drinking lots of tea.
